The stage adaptation of "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" - available through Concord Theatricals - is set in a psychiatric hospital and follows Randle P. McMurphy, a rebellious inmate who clashes with the strict Nurse Ratched. The institution is shown as highly controlled, where routines and authority suppress the patients' individuality.As McMurphy challenges Nurse Ratched's power, he encourages the other patients to rebel and rediscover a sense of freedom.
